HBL Power Systems, today, November 24, announced that the rights issue committee of the company has shelved its proposed rights issue plan owing to unfavorable market conditions in the country.

Petron Engineering Construction has received an order from Engineers India for composite mechanical works for implementation of EURO-IV Project of Chennai Petroleum Corporation at Chennai, for a total contract value of Rs 672.8 million.

Alphageo (India) bagged a contract from ONGC for acquisition of seismic data executable over a period of two seasons in Nagaland for a total contract value of Rs 436.9 million.

Aggreko, a Scotland-based temporary-power provider, has announced plans to enter in India by buying the power-rental assets and business of Cummins India for GBP 3.9 million
