Zigma Software, at its meeting held on Oct. 27, 2008, approved issue of bonus shares in the proportion of 7 bonus shares of Rs 10 each for every 10 ordinary shares of Rs 10 each held by shareholders

NTPC announced that the board of directors of the company at its meeting held on Oct. 24, 2008 has approved the proposal for initiating discussion with Nuclear Power Corporation of India (NPCIL) for entering into an MoU for formation of joint venture (JV) company for setting up a nuclear power project. NTPC shall hold 49% equity stake and remaining 51% shall be held by NPCIL.
