Cairn India on July 07, 2008 signed the `Petroleum Resources` agreement for the exploration license to explore oil and natural gas in the Mannar Basin with the Government of Sri Lanka.

Satyam Computer Services, a leading IT company, entered into a joint venture with Tyfone, a global provider of mobile financial services, infrastructure and fully-integrated mobile payment capabilities.
